I was lucky to meet Monica when she did my make up and hair for a photoshoot last December. Such a beautiful person inside and out, she made the whole experience so pleasant. With her natural talent, she made me feel and look so beautiful yet keeping my look authentic to me. Justine and her girls did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my bridal party ! These girls are so good at what they do- and they are so fun to be around !!! Renei took the time to figure out my hair, and didn’t make me feel like I had to rush as I was still undecided ! She made sure my hair was perfect for my big day ! It was such a pleasure to have these girls be a part of my wedding morning ! Highly recommended !! ❤️❤️

You tell her your concerns, and your desires of what you want and she tells you to "sit back girl, I got you" this is your day, and you're going to do great and look beautiful! I have had experiences where the outcome is a complete disaster and there is nothing I could do! I’ve been lucky enough to be Monica’s canvas three times and every single time she absolutely exceeds my expectations. I’ve never enjoyed having my makeup done because most artists cover up my freckles, but Monica made sure my little love spots shined bright! She took my features and made them pop. I still look back at photos and am stunned with how flawless her art is! She’s one hell of a talented beauty with her makeup and hair skills. Can’t say enough about how much I adore Monica! Shooting with Paul Buceta was on the bucket list and getting Monica to do my makeup was the icing on the cake! If you had told me I’d be sharing unedited pics, I would have said you were crazy! Well, I don’t have a single edited pic from that shoot and it’s a testament to Monica and her amazing gifts! The fact that she’s a freaking rockstar angel that you’ll want to be friends with forever is just a bonus! You will love her and your hair and makeup!

I had Monica do my makeup for a photoshoot back in March 2018. Her abilities blew me away! None of the makeup felt heavy or chunky; it definitely didn't feel like I was wearing pounds of makeup. It was light and absolutely stunning. I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world. She is so kind and so genuine. I would definitely recommend her a million times over! Hope I can maybe work with her again in the future!

I’ve had the pleasure of working Monika K three times. After the first make up and hair application for a photo shoot, I had to go back and ask her how she did it so I booked a “how to for dummies” session with her. LOL

I was blown away by the professionalism and genuine care of Monica at Violet Noir Artistry. Prior to meeting Monica I had never had my hair or makeup professionally done. I was nervous as to whether I would still look like myself after being made up. I had nothing to worry about! Monica enhanced my personality throughout her work. I felt confident and beautiful. She took great care in her art and made an effort to get to know me during our time together. She was kind, funny, and genuine. I would recommend her talent to anyone. In fact, the quality of her work was so outstanding that I can’t imagine having to work with another makeup artist. Looking back at pictures of that day, I continue to admire the outcome of her talent! I can hardly wait to have her do my makeup again some day!

The makeup felt very light on my face and it lasted all day without any touchups! Most of us wore false lashes and they were very comfortable and light. They accentuated each of our individual attributes and made us all appear flawless (which is very important on wedding day!).
